Spotlight On: Pride Month 2023

by Senreve Flagship / Jun 01, 2023

June is Pride Month. At SENREVE, that means a time to come together and make a difference in the LBGTQ+ community. We celebrate to commemorate the impact that the full spectrum of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people has had on our history and cultures. This month, we stand together to advocate for equality.

The rainbow is a meaningful symbol of diversity and solidarity. Don’t get us wrong, we’re all about getting out there in ROYGBIV-inspired outfits, participating in parades, and throwing parties. But we also recognize that there is a lot of work to be done to fight for equality, take a stand, and accept all people.

That’s why we want to hear from you. We want to work together with our community to spread awareness and funds to causes that you are passionate about supporting. Last year, we donated to Out and Equal based on votes from our community. This month, we will be making a donation of $2,500 to the charity you choose. We took it to Instagram, so that you could make your nominations and vote. We highlighted different organizations throughout the month and now it’s time to reveal the cause you chose!

This year, you nominated and voted for The Trevor Project! The Trevor Project’s mission is to end suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning young people. The organization aims to achieve this through our core group of programs: Crisis Services, Peer Support, Research, Public Education, and Advocacy. Learn more about The Trevor Project and donate at www.thetrevorproject.org.
