We love the Colors of Summer, from the blushes and blues of a beach picnic to the deep browns and refreshing greens of a woodland hike. Our rich, vibrant colors are often inspired by the beauty of nature around us, and with summer in full swing, the SENREVE team is adding these favorite summer activities and matching colors to our sunshine season bucket lists.
1. Plan the perfect beach picnic
Fun in the sun is a must. We love heading to the beach to soak up our daily dose of vitamin D and bringing along a great read to catch up on some chapters.
If the midday heat isn’t your scene, plan a sunset beach picnic instead.

Sophie, SENREVE’s Brand Marketing Lead, suggests packing up snacks and a cool drink to enjoy a picnic spot around dusk! Bring along some Aperol and a glass for the perfect picnic cocktail.
Don’t forget your other beach essentials. You can’t have the perfect picnic without the perfectly packed beach bag.

The Doctor Bag is a great choice. As with all SENREVE handbags, it is scratch and water resistant, so consider it large enough to hold all you need, as well as durable and chic enough to carry all day. Pebbled Blush or Coral are perfect elegant colorways for your beach day, but if you can’t decide on a color? Take our Colors of Summer: Beach Picnic quiz.

2. Tend the garden
There is no joy that compares to nurturing a garden bed or harvesting your own vegetables in the summer. We love to source fresh produce and cut blooms from our backyard.
SENREVE’s Brand and Creative Director, Kristin, has been putting her green thumb to the test this season. These stunning dahlias are from her backyard garden!

To keep blooms fresh for longer, make sure that the flower stems don’t have leaves below the water line and refresh the water in the vase every other day. If certain flowers are dying first, make sure to take those out so that they don’t affect the rest of the fresh flowers.
While tending to the garden, we love wearing the Aria Belt Bag on our waist to keep our hands free. And the best leather colors to match a weekend in the garden? Wisteria, Lilac, Dandelion, Tangerine, Chili, Lemon, just to name a few.

3. Take a starry stroll
You can’t miss the sight of a summer night sky.
Did you catch Comet NEOWISE earlier this month? Our team looked northwestward to the Big Dipper as a guide for the chance to catch a glimpse of the newly discovered comet that won’t be around for another 6,000+ years! If not, don’t despair; we’ve been basking in this incredible collection of Comet NEOWISE photos.

If you’re not trying to wish upon a shooting star, simply take a nighttime stroll to clear your head and unwind. Even better, find a spot to sit and star gaze.
Pack your Maestra with our new SENREVE At Home cashmere shawl or cashmere coatigan to stay cozy when the evening gets chilly.

The Maestra in Marine, Doctor in Sapphire, or Aria in Noir all make for a perfect star gazing companion.

If you can’t get away from the city lights, we understand. Our team loves using the SkyView app to help us spot constellations even when it’s not pitch dark outside. SkyView has great information on all things starry sky and helps you identify constellations from anywhere.

3. Plan a forest escape
There is such peace found among the trees. One of our favorite ways to be refreshed is by the forest.
Blocking time off to revisit an old favorite hiking spot or challenge ourselves on a new trail is our pastime of choice.
If you don’t have the time to wind down in the woodlands, simply taking a scenic drive can still provide the feeling of a forest escape.
Elise, SENREVE’s Chief of Staff, recently went to Shasta-Trinity National Forest for a breath of fresh air and brought along her Coda Belt Bag!

The summer season is definitely still a bit different this year. Thankfully, these activities can still occur while we stay separated. With the perfect summer bag companion, you’ll be set to enjoy the beach, garden, sky and forest.
