by Sara Wennerstrom / Aug 17, 2021
Another day, another gorgeous SENREVE Closet Tour! Bag and shoe lover Amie Rogers of Chase Amie is giving us a look into her envy-inducing accessories closet in her new home. A London-based entrepreneur, Amie’s love of all things pretty has earned her over 200,000 subscribers on YouTube who tune in every week for her engaging and elevated fashion videos. We’re so excited to step into Amie’s world today and learn a little about her wardrobe, from organization tips to her favorite SENREVE pieces.
Tell us a little about your closet. What’s your favorite thing about it?
My closet is split into two rooms - I have a space for my clothes along with a few bags and then a separate room for the rest of my bag collection and my shoes, which I also use for filming YouTube videos as well as a general dressing room/getting ready space. My husband was lovely enough to build it all for me - everything is from IKEA but he added some trimmings to make it look 'built in' and a little more custom.
My favourite thing is definitely the luxury of having so much space! We recently moved from London where space is a lot more restricted so it feels like such a luxury to be able to spread out! Everything having its own space is wonderful and makes it so much easier to keep everything looking neat and tidy - as well as functionally trying to find things!
How do you organize your closet?
For bags, it's by colour. I've really learned the importance of colour organization to make a space feel more put together so I decided to do a colour gradient for this closet and I love the way it turned out. There's something about neatly organized colours that makes me feel instantly calmer!
What’s the most-used section of your closet?
Currently it's my activewear drawer - I wear Lululemon leggings at some point pretty much every day! When it comes to 'proper' clothes though, it's always my skirts and tops. I love the ease of separates and I'm most comfortable in a midi skirt.
Which SENREVE bag do you wear the most? How do you like to style it?
The Aria for sure. Pre-lockdown, it was my go to for travel but even during lockdown, it's the best style for errand running (I use the gold chain to make it into a crossbody) which then seamlessly transforms into a clutch bag for evening. I have a lot of bags but value for money is still so important to me and I feel like I get 5 bags in one with the Aria!
Favorite closet hack?
I feel like my entire closet is a hack, haha! I love the fact that we were able to achieve the look we wanted just using IKEA furniture - along with some clever DIY from my husband! My favourite finishing touches are probably the LED lighting and the wallpaper on the back - it's subtle but it hides the seams of the IKEA backing and lends it a luxe look. I'm also a firm believer in the importance of wooden hangers - you can fit less but it makes your closet look so much more pulled together!
